Hello,

Went to Lincoln Tech (big mistake what a waste of $20k) got my EPA and 410A. When I got out of school didn't really know much. 1st job i got fired since they weren't willing to work with me/train me. Now I'm working for a well known new construction heating and cooling company which is not willing to send me to training and the other techs just give me the answer/fix (never explain so I can really understand my mistakes) or just give me the run around to have to talk with the boss + the company just throws me all over the state and expects me to get everything right. What gives? Does this industry not want to help the new guys? Worst of all they want u to have all the tools and pay u $12/hr and they aren't even giving a full 40hrs during a/c season. I am a fast learner when taught properly + have been getting better over the last few months.

Can anyone help? Maybe a job that is willing to train/work with me. Anything they did to learn and understand the trade better when the first got in.

Hello. You seem to be having an identity crisis.
The is a UK lorry driving forum, we know nothing about American training schemes for A/C technicians, perhaps you should ask your friend who has just started as a truck driver..

BTW we don't allow spurious links on these forums so I've deleted it.
