Went to Hornsea with Matron Rolling Eyes Monday. Lovely walk on seafront followed by nice coffee and cake in a nice cafe, where on observing the other punters, it looked like me and Matron were the youngest in it! Laughing Laughing Laughing Next door to the cafe was a disability scooter shop! Rolling Eyes Fit Laughing

Wednesday went for a test drive on my own-went well.

A nice run out in glorious sunshine Shocked Shocked Shocked on Friday to inspect two horses in my racing empire. Like me , in January they rest a lot- ground conditions shite is the excuse! Having done a bit of walking recently I accept that!

Onto Castle Howard to the Arboretum for a pre season meeting. Opens to the public on Feb 10th.

Mind also played silly buggas in trying to sort work patterns for the coming season. Few things up in the air at the moment! Where the balls all land is the next thing to sort! Rolling Eyes

A slightly slower week for me, as the end of the month draws near Very Happy

Monday: Park Royal first, then around the north circ to Hackney and Beckton. Up to Kings Lynn to load one home.

Tuesday: A full load down to Slough, then pallets back form Beford via the lorry wash at Toddington. Drop the pallets at Guyhirn, then nip next door to tip one load and collect another.

Wednesday: Down to Rye Park for delivery number one, then on to Waltham Abbye for drop two. As forecast the wind was getting gusty as I tipped the last, so I elected to have a break in a quiet corner of the industrial estate and see how it developed. Things were begining to clam a little after 45 minutes, so I set off for Kings Lynn and drove out fo the draft alltogether by the time I got up there. Load one home, drop that and collect an empty, then return to Lynn to fetch another one back.

Thursday: A broken wire on my trailer got the on call fitter out of bed, and moved me from nice and early to just about on time
Sad . Two drops in Hoddesdon, came first, followed by two more in Waltham Abbey, done in reverse order for ease. A pair of Enfields completed the trip, then empty home to give the unit a rinse off before finishing Cool

Friday: The end of my week begins with another foray into Rye Park, followed by a visit to another customer in Enfield. Back up to Waltham Abbey then Hoddesdon again. Finally Baldock, followed by a nice ceross country run to Leighton Buzzard to tip the last. Empty home for the weekend Waving
