Monday: Not the start I'd hoped for as I have almost two hours to wait for my vehicle to return from a night run Brick Wall . Having got hooked up and sorted out my next problem is traffic, and lots of it Crying or Very sad . Whats normally a two and a half hour trip to Staple Corner in London becomes a three and a half hour slog Fit . Greenford comes next, followed by a visit to Alperton. Then its up to Hatfield to tip the biggest part of the load, before heading to Hemel to persuade them to tip theirs in very quick time before I had to turn and run for home without visiting Baldock. Luckily my need to get moving before running out of time was matched by Hemels need for the stock I was bringing, and he shift manager himself went down to get the pallets off Shocked . Back as far as the village lay by for the night.

Tuesday: Back to Guyhirn to swap trailers, tip and reload the trailer I'd swapped on to, then off to Croydon. Sadly my Scania picked our arrival in Croydon to spring an air leak, so Croydon got their delivery, but by the time a very nice man from Scania had come out, diagnosed and repaired the fault with the air dryer and got me mobile again, no one else did. Back to Guyhirn with the undelivered pallets Sad

Wednesday: Out to Woking for my first tip, then into Isleworth for drop two. Call number three is up at High Wycombe, before returning to Hatfield for the second time this week. Last delivery goes to Baldock, then its back to Guyhirn to drop my trailer in the firm next door and bob tail home.

Thursday: A full load out to Crick, back to base, via a very inconvenient queue on the A47 and swap trailers, then next door to load up and head for Rugby. Rugby get me tipped just in time for a swift trip back to the village layby for the night.

Friday: Back to Guyhirn, swap trailers and run out to Slough. Here it takes five hours to get the trailer empty, which kills any chance of a back load so its drop the trailer next door and bob home again for the weekend Waving
Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass.
Its about learning to dance in the rain.
