don't know if you are aware that from january of this year you cannot overtake on dual carriageways if over 3.5tonnes through the day on belgium roads, New signs have been erected along major routes explaining this in ENGLISH.

There are certain sections of two lane motorway where you can overtake.
Blue signs of a truck overtaking a car are what to look out for I.E. From the French border to Jabbeke (any time)
If there are times under the pictures usually 20.00 - 06.00 or similar these are the times between which you ARE allowed to overtake.
If you do not see blue signs after every entrance onto the motorway then you can't overtake
Three lane motorways as far as I know are OK to overtake on.
Don't forget falling rain negates all of the above as then there is no truck overtaking anywhere.
Give it to the Belgians they do like to keep things simple. _________________ Squarepeg ([])

Pain in the bum, Germany is bad enough only having it on certain sections.
Theres going to be some very long queues of trucks in Belgium

It is getting as bad in Holland as well , with no overtaking. between 06.00 hrs and 19.00 hrs.
