This week starts for me much as last week did. Two drops in Park Royal, one at Staples Corner, then down to Hayes before running back to Hatfield to finish the deliveries Very Happy

Hearing reports of apoplectic weather conditions I checked with Carol and see we may expect some snow on Thursday, other parts of the country may not be so lucky so be careful out there. Snow in February!!! Whatever next?
I blame it on the Russians.

I have many things planned to do this week. The trouble is they are all weather related, and we are nearer Russia then Squarepeg is!

At least I'm not out driving a truck this weather.

I would hope come Thursday if the forecast is right,we may get a video of Lord Squarepeg skiing down Birdlip rather then one of his chocolate brownie to go with the famous Tewksbury coffee!

Monday? Reckon most Scots should be sober by now after the excitment and the glory of stuffing the English at Murrayfield!

thumbs up thumbs up thumbs up Cool Laughing

Even up in 't frozen North spotting snow flurries is quite a task, especially when the sun is shining! The Beast from the East is more like the cuddly bear from the East at present! Rolling Eyes

I apparently have to wait until Thursday to join in the fun.
In the meantime DVLA have decided (after 3 months) that I can now get on with my life for the next 3 years by renewing my B+E licence. Very Happy

Sunday was a lie in as i didnt work for my beloved poundland so it was a lazy day and a trip to the park with the dogs, a tad cold but glorious sunshine. Ran the daughter back to Uni and then home to bed

Monday was the usual day dealing with the little darlings and listening to people who dont know my job telling me im doing it wrong. On a lighter note though the talk is about the 85 redundancies that are happening and the management who appeared to be untouched have had their numbers doubled. Nice to see the smile wiped off their faces for a change.

Woke up to snow and quite thick it was too, so glad i wasnt driving and worked from home with the heating on full blast.

the rest of the week will be doing portfolios and hopefully driving on Sunday providing it has picked up, apparently it has been quiet the past couple of weeks. they cancelled 6 sunday night drivers the other week so they either have more of their own drivers or the work is dying off. Hopefully its just a quiet time for them, id hate to have to work somewhere else

hope everyone is warm and safe Waving

January and February are notorious slow Chad, The Poundland at Tewkesbury has just started doing clothing but they have a Peacoks opening just up the street today.
Bracing myself for the worst of our weather today and tomorrow but looking at reports we may just be on the fringe as usual.
All those out there keeping the UK fed and working, take care. A truck in a layby is worth two in the ditch. Make sure your snow curtains are in full working order.

A crash course in igloo building this morning. Not too bad here but not keen to find out further afield.
