Our Labours after Labor day w/c 1-9-19

#1 Post by Bigger Birdie » Sun Sep 01, 2019 5:49 am

Monday is a holiday for the Americans and their Canadian cousins, meanwhile I am Uxbridge bound with plenty to do afterwards :D

Full details were unavailable on friday, as the planning was a bit behind. However the list I heard on Saturday morning appeared to feature every second west London postcode, so I shan't be bored by the looks of things

Not so much planning as 'stick it on the trailer and hope for the best'. :o

I have a more sedate day escorting mother to the farriers.

A rare free day today, management is no doubt working to change that.

Blimey, a one dropper Ian, I shudder to think what follows it.
Last night checking my car for its MOT tomorrow (are you keeping up?) I discover a non functioning brake light bulb so a trip to the autoparts store today prior to going to Tewkesbury. Who had the bright idea of fitting red bulbs

What was to follow was a very early visit to Swindon this morning.

But those plans changed, and now todays mission is a mystery until I show my face in the yard in a little while

A traumatic day yesterday getting the car safely through it's MOT (A dod not drive failure doue to broken bolt in anti-roll bar) Luckily the garage I use is on the ball and a new bolt was on the way before the car came off the ramp.
Today will be a recovery day and coffee therapy.
