The Professional Drivers Foundation would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Trucknet UK for holding their annual Charity auction to raise an amazing £2300 for the only organisation dedicated to helping lorry drivers.
With a couple of items to be sold separately online, including an LGV driving training course donated by Peter Smythe Transport Training, it is likely that the auction will raise around £3,000 in total and is an all time record.
The event, now in its 10th year, took place at Longford House in Cannock, Staffs, on Saturday 23rd February.
Approximately 50 drivers and TruckNet members attended, bidding on anything from models and books to branded jackets and watches.
Road Transport Media kindly provide the funds for a free bar and cajole everyone to donate auction items.
This year saw more merchandise than ever before from the following:
Steve Parrish, who is the Patron of the PDF, donated autographed items to add his on-going support.
